Kathryn is a dual UK and Canadian citizen who has performed in plays and musicals on both sides of the Atlantic.
Theatre includes: in the West End, Brenda Parsley, understudied and played Alexandra Spofford in The Witches of Eastwick (original cast, Theatre Royal, Drury Lane), Heather/Mad Doctor, understudied and played Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard (Adelphi). Also, Priscilla in Taboos (New End), Tessie Tura/alternate Mama Rose in Gypsy (Dundee Rep), Dona Gisa in Dona Flor and Her Two Husbands (Lyric Hammersmith Studio), Katherine in Smudge (Oval House), Annalise in The Typographer’s Dream (Pleasance, Edinburgh), Charity and Merman in Dorothy Fields Forever (King’s Head), Dr Jeaneene Deakman in Trance (White Bear), Wicked Witch of the West/Miss Gulch in The Wizard of Oz (Bristol Old Vic), Jeanne, understudied and played Mme de Rols in Martin Guerre (West Yorkshire Playhouse and tour) and the title role in Celle-La/That Woman (Traverse/Tramway). Musical credits in North America include: Gad’s Wife in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Donny Osmond (US tour), Evelyn in A Connecticut Yankee (Shaw Festival, Canada), Linda English in Pal Joey (National Arts Centre/Grand Theatre, Canada) and Demeter in Cats (original Canadian cast, Toronto).
Plays include: Fanny in The Gallant Major (Stephenville Festival, Canada), multiple roles in Lulu and This Happy Breed (Shaw Festival, Canada), Shelby in The Shadow Stealer and Mum in Jacob Two-Two and the Dinosaur (Young People’s Theatre, Toronto).
