Producer/Executive ProducerAldo Scrofani

ALDO SCROFANI (Producer/Executive Producer) began his tenure in the theatre in 1977 at Jujamcyn Theatres Corporation. During his 13 year term he served as the Executive Vice President and participated in the vast growth of the organization into one of America’s leading and most progressive theatrical companies. Jujamcyn both owned and operated first class legitimate Broadway theatres, as well as produced some of the theatres most memorable and successful productions. In 1990, he joined Columbia Artists Theatricals (CAT). CAT remains among the industry’s most highly regarded producing and management companies, and is a leader in the world of theatrical touring. During his 17 year term with CAT, Mr. Scrofani has served as the Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Board of Directors.

Mr. Scrofani has produced, and been associated with over 100 Broadway, National, and/or international productions including Dirty Rotten Scoundrels directed by Jack O’Brien, Chita Rivera: The Dancer’s Life, Lovemusik directed by Hal Prince, STOMP, Bring In ‘Da Noise, Bring In ‘Da Funk starring Savion Glover, Elaine Stritch At Liberty, Savion Glover in Foot Notes, Sunset Boulevard starring Petula Clark, Tap Dogs, The Royal National Theatre Production of Carousel directed by Nicholas Hytner, Jelly’s Last Jam directed by George C. Wolfe, The World Goes Round, Master Class, The Belle of Amherst with Julie Harris, Copenhagen, Grand Hotel directed by Tommy Tune, Gypsy starring Tyne Daly, City of Angels directed by Michael Blakemore, M. Butterfly directed by John Dexter, My One and Only, The Piano Lesson, Into The Woods, Big River, and Dracula starring Frank Langella. He has been an active member within the theatrical industry, serving on many committees regarding topics such as labor negotiations, marketing, and touring. He has been a member of The League of American Theatres and Producers and has served on both the Executive Committee and the Board of Governors. He has also served for 15 years on both the Tony® Management and Tony Administration committees.
